That would have been the title for the entry to describe my welcome to 2010, clinging to cool white porcelain in the bathroom of our hotel in Barcelona if I hadn't chosen to spend the first month of 2010 being very seriously ill, as my wife and daughters documented on a site called Caring Bridge, and which I have cut and pasted in the next entry.
